May I book this group trip through another agency or online store?
No, our music group trips are exclusively available through 2 Getaway Travel. If you book the hotel through another supplier, you will not have access to the music events on property as those are exclusive to our clients.
May I bring my teenager on this trip?
Our music groups are held at Adult Only all-inclusive resorts. Anyone under 18 years of age is not permitted on the resorts.
What does the trip package price include?
Includes 4 nights at the advertised resort/hotel. Adults-Only (18 years and over). Enjoy All-Inclusive 24-hour service, free WiFi, a gourmet culinary restaurant, premium drinks and the best Texas/Red Dirt Music for you to enjoy on your unforgettable music getaway.
How do I Book the trip?
Click on the “Book Now” or "customize/Upgrade" buttons on the webpage of the getaway you would like to sign up for and follow the instructions to let us know your preference on air, hotel and transportation options. You will be required, at the time of booking, to pay a non-refundable deposit.
What documents do I need to travel to Mexico?
A valid U.S. passport is required for travel Internationally. 2 Getaway Travel recommends your passport does not expire within 6 months of departure date.
May I book my trip without having a passport?
Yes, but you will need to have a valid US passport at least 14 days before travel. To apply for a passport click Here.
Are airfare and hotel shuttles included?
Airfare/hotel shuttle transportation is not included in your hotel/event package allowing you the freedom to arrange your own transportation using your “points”, other rewards systems and/or transportation of choice. We can provide the best airfare rates/schedules available upon your request. Go to “Book Now" or "Customize/Upgrade" buttons on the web age of the preferred trip you are taking.
What is the standard procedure at the destination airport to get to my Shuttle?
Upon arrival at the airport, after claiming your luggage and clearing immigrations and customs, walk out the terminal building to meet your transfer representative (Lomas Travel in Cancun will be wearing turquoise shirts and white pants) (Amstar in the Dominican Republic will be wearing a signature blue-flowered shirt) who will greet you outside the terminal building and escort you to your transfer vehicle. To confirm your return transfer and for any other assistance, look for your Lomas or Amstar representative in your hotel during the day.
When will the schedule of performances and final artist lineup be available?
Prior to travel, you will be able to view a sample event schedule so you can better plan your vacation including any additional excursion or just making sure you get quality time on the beach. Performance schedules will be sent via email approximately 21 days out from travel. They will also be handed out at the resort upon check-in.
When is the trip balance due?
Final payments are due 60 days prior to travel. All reservations made within 60 days of travel require full payment at time of booking.
How do I pay my getaway balance?
You’ll receive an invoice/ confirmation from us 7 days before your final payment is due. If you would like to make a payment prior to this date you may click on this Link and complete the credit card authorization. It is important to include your confirmation number.
Will 2 Getaway Travel staff be attending this trip?
We take great pride in producing and/or facilitating all music getaways. We arrive early and stay late to ensure the events go off flawlessly and that we are available to help resolve any issues or answer any questions our guest might have.
Should I purchase travel insurance?
Because you never know what might happen, 2 Getaway Travel highly recommends each guest purchase travel insurance. For more information on travel insurance Click Here. Please note that Event fees are not covered by Travel Protection offered by Funjet and United Vacations.
