Meet Rachael
I've been in the travel industry for 15 years, including 4 years working directly at hotels and 11 years here at 2 Getaway Travel. That hotel experience gives me an inside perspective most travel advisors don't have — I know how resorts actually operate, what room categories are genuinely worth upgrading to, and how to negotiate on behalf of my clients in ways that make a real difference.
At 2 Getaway Travel, I serve as both Office Manager and Memory Architect, which means I keep the day-to-day running smoothly while also personally helping clients plan their vacations. Through I Do by 2 Getaway, I oversee all room contracts between resorts and our agency, coordinating destination wedding guest travel, and making sure every detail of your destination wedding travel experience is handled with precision.
I've lived in Europe, visited Cancun on multiple occasions, and participated in training of other destinations, so I'd love the opportunity to share my experience and destination knowledge to assist you and your family enjoy an unforgettable getaway!

"When you decide having a destination wedding, the whole destination thing becomes an extra thing to think about on top of the wedding. Luckily for me, I DO literally helped me not worry about this whole part!!! Their attention is flawless, the experience was perfect, they help you from step A to step Z. They scout the hotel, give you options, reach out to your guests and help them get everything booked (they even helped them with flights and excursions!!!), they have all of the communication and negotiation with the hotel so on top of all of this, I got some group perks!!! "If you're planning a trip, going with 2 Getaway travel is the way to go. I used them for my honeymoon, and everything was fantastic! Fast forward to last year and I decided to try and book through Orbitz, it was a disaster. It was stressful to say the least, the transportation I booked was not reliable and I had to over pay for a taxi to get us to the airport (although I had already paid for transportation). This year I decided to book again with 2 Getaway Travel and again everything was great! Karin, Rachel, and Gloria were all so helpful and they even checked on me during my trip to ensure everything was going well. This trip was stress free and I will continue to book with them.
