Join us for the Ireland Texas Songwriters Getaway, an unforgettable music and travel experience through the heart of Ireland featuring live performances from talented Texas songwriters Steve Helms, Ben McPherson, and Rowdy Decker.
This unique group adventure blends the charm of Irish culture with the spirit of Texas songwriting. Guests will stay in the historic city of Kilkenny, a medieval town known for its castles, cobblestone streets, welcoming pubs, and vibrant music scene.
Throughout the week, guests will enjoy intimate songwriter performances, storytelling sessions, and unforgettable evenings of live music in authentic Irish venues. The trip also allows time to explore Ireland’s rich history, local culture, and scenic countryside.
One highlight includes a special performance night at TJ Mac’s in Mullinahone, where guests will experience an authentic Irish pub atmosphere filled with music, laughter, and community.
Guests also have the option to attend a Cody Johnson concert in Dublin on November 5th (additional cost), offering an exciting opportunity to see one of country music’s biggest stars while in Ireland.

Steve Helms
What do the University of Texas, the Texas Rangers, Lone Star Park, and Cat’s Baseball all have in common? They’ve all embraced the music of the Steve Helms Band and their Texas anthem, “Nowhere But Texas.”
Steve Helms has become a staple of the Texas country music scene, known for energetic performances, authentic songwriting, and songs that celebrate the pride and spirit of the Lone Star State. With a loyal fan base and years of touring experience, the Steve Helms Band delivers memorable shows that connect with audiences wherever they play.
Ben MCPherson
For over ten years Ben took lessons every week, attempting to absorb every bit of knowledge he could. He would listen to Johnny Gimble and Randy Elmore, trying to steal as many “licks” as possible. When Ben was fifteen, he played his first gig in Glen Rose, Texas, with a friend from high school. After performing with him for five months, artist Brady Hulsey asked him to play fiddle for him.
Rowdy Decker
Rowdy Decker is a Texas-born country artist known for his authentic storytelling and powerful live performances. Drawing inspiration from traditional country roots and modern influences, Rowdy brings energy and passion to every stage. His music reflects real-life experiences, strong melodies, and a deep connection with fans, making him a standout performer in the Texas country scene.

Airfare
Airfare is not included in the package price. Recommended flights from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) to Dublin (DUB) are currently available for $1,210 per person round-trip. We are happy to assist travelers with booking flights from Dallas or other departure cities.
Optional Cody Johnson Concert – Dublin (November 5)
Train tickets from Dublin to Kilkenny are approximately €25 round-trip per person.
• Concert tickets: approximately €68.20 – €123.75 depending on seat selection
• Ground transportation: from the train station to the concert venue and back (price to be determined based on group size)
Final transportation pricing will be confirmed once we know how many travelers will attend.

November 2, 2026 – Arrival Day
Arrive in Ireland and transfer to Kilkenny. Settle into the hotel, adjust to the time change, and explore the town. Optional group meet-up at a local pub to kick off the trip.
November 3, 2026 – Live Music (Location TBA)
Enjoy free time to explore Kilkenny, visit local pubs, or discover the town’s historic sites. Live music performance in the evening (location to be announced).
November 4, 2026 – Live Music (Location TBA)
Day available for sightseeing, shopping, or exploring Kilkenny and the surrounding area. Evening live music performance (location to be announced).
November 5, 2026 – Optional Concert Night
Free evening in Kilkenny or optional trip to Dublin to attend the Cody Johnson concert (additional cost).
November 6, 2026 – Live Music (Location TBA)
Enjoy another day to explore Kilkenny at your own pace. Evening live music performance (location to be announced).
November 7, 2026 – Live Music Night at TJ Mac’s
Group performance at TJ Mac’s in Mullinahone, Ireland.
Music begins at 9:30 PM and continues until close.
November 8, 2026 – Live Music (Location TBA)
Free day to explore Kilkenny with another live music performance scheduled for the evening (location to be announced).
November 9, 2026 – Final Day in Ireland
Enjoy a final day exploring Kilkenny, visiting local pubs, or relaxing before departure preparations.
November 10, 2026 – Departure Day
Transfer to Dublin for return flights home.

Deposit
A deposit equal to the full cost of the hotel reservation plus a $200 per person non-refundable deposit for group flights is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
Final Payment
Final payment is due by September 21, 2026.
Cancellation Policy
The hotel reservation portion is refundable until the final payment due date. After September 21, 2026, the booking becomes non-refundable.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your trip investment. Insurance coverage is available through TME Travel Insurance.
